If you have been researching your family tree for any length of time, you have hit a proverbial “brick wall.” There is no way to avoid them. The data and documentation just run out. The further back you travel in time, the worse it becomes.
The challenge is overcoming these walls and moving your research to the next level. I have found myself in the same situation many times. It seemed like the solution was impossible. In some cases, it took many more years of research to find the answer. Hopefully, you can solve your dilemma in a shorter time frame, but it will take lots of hard work.
One method I found very helpful was to have someone else take a look at my research with fresh eyes. They could many times see things I glossed over or didn’t feel were important. It is like the cold case detective that investigates that unsolved murder after the original detectives gave up. With a new perspective, good things can happen.
One of my services is providing such a fresh look. I may be able to help find missing information or suggest new ideas to help you get through that brick wall! The initial consultation is free.
